Tire hotel software
Tire hotel software for a seasonal tire hotel
A tire hotel is the storage program
A tire hotel is the program where the shop keeps a customer’s off-season sets and brings them back at changeover. The tires are not the shop’s stock. They belong to the customer, they live in a container or on a wall rack, and someone has to find the right set when that vehicle returns. Tire hotel software is the record of that program: the customer, the vehicle, each tire, the bay, and the handoff.
Rackline is built for that work. Check-in happens on a phone, in the browser. The office watches the same sets on the web. The bay map shows which containers and wall racks still have room, using the tires-per-bay capacity the shop set. A mismatched set is still one customer’s set, with each tire written on it.
Check-in, receipt, and the return visit
When the set comes in, the tech records it, photographs the condition, puts it in a bay that can hold the tire count, and prints a label if the shop is on Plus or Premium. The label’s bay number is for the person walking the aisle. The QR code is for pickup. The shop chooses Yes or No for a storage receipt and can email it to the customer. Saving the set does not depend on that email.
When the customer comes back, lookup or a scan opens the set. Swap or pickup records the change and who made it. At the season turn the shop can email customers about changeover. The email includes an unsubscribe link and the mailing address. That is the whole loop of a tire hotel: in, stored, labeled, found, and out.
What a hotel bay costs to run in software
The public prices are the pricing-page prices. Plus is $24.99 CAD per month for 250 active sets and 5 office seats. Premium is $49.99 CAD per month for 2,000 active sets and 12 office seats. Both are before tax and both include the web manager and label printing. Free holds 10 active sets on the phone only. Released sets do not count. The Brother printer and DK-1202 labels are bought separately. Call 1-866-414-8119.
What the shop records
A tech checks a set in on a phone, in the browser. The same shop login opens the web office, and the phone and the web share the shop’s cloud data. Intake records the customer, the vehicle, the tire details, and the tread depth the tech enters. Condition photos stay with the set as a record of what came in. The shop can import an existing list from CSV, Excel, or Google Sheets, and every plan can export CSV.
When the tires on one vehicle do not match, turn Mismatched set on. Off keeps one make, model, size, DOT, and tread for the whole set. On records each tire on this set — you do not enter them as different sets. Each tire can have its own make, model, size, DOT date code, and tread depth, while the vehicle still has one set, one bay, one label, and one pickup.
The bay map is the shop’s layout of shipping containers and wall racks, with numbered bays. Tires-per-bay capacity is stored on that map. The default is 4 tires, and the shop can set the capacity from 1 up to 24. The bay line shows how many tires are in the bay against that capacity, including a full bay and an older stack that sits over the cap. Intake will not add a set that would push the bay past its tire count.
Plus and Premium include label printing in the app. Labels print on a Brother QL-810W using DK-1202 stock, 2.4 inches by 3.9 inches (62 × 100 mm). Brother Genuine DK-1202 or compatible DK-1202 both work. The printer and the labels are sold separately. No plan includes a physical printer. The QL-810W can print from a phone or a desktop when the printer is on the same Wi-Fi as the device doing the print. The label carries the bay number for the floor and a QR code for pickup.
At intake the shop answers Yes or No to Send storage receipt and can type a customer email. Yes, with a valid email, emails a storage receipt when the set is saved. If the address is missing, the set can still be saved. No skips the receipt. Save works if you skip the email. Later, office staff can add or fix the customer email on the set and send the storage receipt from the web.
Public prices match the pricing page and are in Canadian dollars before tax. Plus is $24.99 CAD per month: 250 active sets, 5 office seats, the web manager, and label printing. Premium is $49.99 CAD per month: 2,000 active sets, 12 office seats, and the same web manager and label printing. Free is 10 active sets, phone only, with no web manager and no label printing. Released sets do not count toward the active-set cap. Tech upload and photos do not use a paid seat. Swap and pickup can start from a label scan or a lookup, and the set keeps a who-changed-what history. Customer emails, including changeover emails, are on every plan. The toll-free number is 1-866-414-8119. Rackline is operated by 1984777 Ontario Inc., Ontario, Canada.
Questions
What is tire hotel software?
Software for the program where a shop stores a customer’s off-season tires and returns them at changeover. Rackline keeps the customer, the vehicle, each tire, the bay, the label, and the pickup on one set.
Can one vehicle have tires that do not match?
Yes. Mismatched set records each tire on the same set. You do not enter them as different sets. Make, model, size, DOT, and tread can differ by tire.
How does the hotel know a bay is full?
Each map has a tires-per-bay capacity. The default is 4 tires and the maximum is 24. The bay line shows the fill. Intake will not place a set that would exceed that count.
Do customers get a storage receipt?
At intake the shop chooses Yes or No and can enter a customer email. Yes emails a storage receipt when the set is saved. Save works without an email. The office can send the receipt later from the set.
What are the prices?
Plus is $24.99 CAD per month and Premium is $49.99 CAD per month, before tax, as on the pricing page. On the floor, Rackline runs in any phone browser. Toll-free support is 1-866-414-8119.
